Interesting week in New Zealand, we have changes to the red setting, how that affects you. What we’re thinking is gonna be happening in the next couple of weeks. All of that in today’s update. So good morning, our chiropractors and allied health professionals of New Zealand. My name is barren Hoig. I am the executive director of one chiropractic and the chiropractic defense council coming to you today, March 28th for your weekly update. Um, so we had a lot going on this past week. The government obviously came out, um, with a number of new, uh, policies, if you will regulations underneath the red setting, um, which primarily affected educators, police military, as of April 4th, there will no longer be mandates for vaccination there. Um, you’ll, you’re probably gonna start seeing, you know, people being hired back that were maybe terminated for not being VAs. That’s what we’re seeing around the rest of the country.
So you’re gonna start seeing that throughout New Zealand, I believe over the next week, week and a half, unfortunately at this time they have not said anything about, uh, private health. It is being reviewed. We do expect over the coming weeks for more and more to fall, uh, more of these mandates to fall and open the thing, open the world back up, essentially. Um, as you know, there’s just more and more evidence coming out about the ineffectiveness of the vaccines anyway. Um, but we believe that the governments are gonna start letting go cause it’s happening around the rest of the world. So I know a number of you, which is kind of funny. They, they’re also getting rid of the VAX passports, um, which, you know, is gonna be interesting to see what businesses choose to keep it as they have the ability to self enforce.
Um, but as far as the government mandating it, that appears to be gone as well. Um, but it’s funny because at the same time they’re appealing the case, um, the Yardley case that it went through court. And so, you know, I’m kind of tripping over words here because I can’t really figure out a hundred percent of what’s going on, uh, in the world. We’re having more and more evidence, more and more healthcare people, more mainstream media coming out now and talking about the ineffectiveness of the vaccine that actually, um, you know, the harm that the vaccine is causing, but we still have these government that are refusing to let go. Um, and they’re still refusing to admit that it’s just time to move on. So I’m not a hundred percent sure what’s going on there in New Zealand. The good news is the rains are loosening.
Um, we’re seeing less and less enforcement they’re, they’re dropping more and more as time goes on. I expect that to continue. So I know a lot of you, um, are starting to open back up, which I think is the appropriate thing to do right now. I want you to stay connected to us. We have our risk assessment. We have the various tools that you need, um, to be able to move forward. We’re not seeing much activity as far as complaints from the ministry of health. Um, you know, so we want you to just continue to do business as usual, keep OS clean. You don’t need to be standing on a pedestal. We’ve been telling you that from day one, we want you just loving and serving your communities and know that we have your back if and when anything ever happens. So, you know, I told you that I thought by may, we’re gonna start seeing a whole new world that’s kind of happening.
Um, I expected it to continue to go in that direction. Um, but I want you guys to still communicate with us. You guys have been doing a phenomenal job of sharing information. I know there are still these ministry of health emails that are, they’re still going. They’re slowing. We’re not getting as many people we reaching out. Remember if you get emailed anything, just ignore it, act, show it as unread. Um, and just move on. Uh, if you get letters or visits or things of that nature, then please reach out to us and we’ll make sure that our legal team supports you. But right now we want you to do business as usual. We want chiropractic and whatever healthcare service you provide, um, to be the primary focus of what’s happening right now in New Zealand. So keep moving forward. We’ll keep you updated as we hear new information.

Uh, things are shifting over there in Australia as well. Um, lots of opera visits, lots of health officer visits, but we’ve been successful thus far at, uh, defending our people. So we’re gonna continue to move forward in that direction as well. Um, but things are, you know, we’re starting to see a silver lining in Australia, uh, the rest of the world, um, little pockets here and there, but we’re not seeing any massive, massive movement, which is a good thing.
We’re actually starting to move on to new projects to make sure that chiropractic has the access and ability to function without any restriction. So, uh, you know, remember I’m gonna plant this seed, cuz I don’t say it very much there in New Zealand because you know, we’ve been working and focusing on the issues there, but I want you to remember that the, the chiropractic defense council doesn’t exist just because of the mandates, right? We’re, we’re, we’re kind of just fighting every battle that happens to affect our profession. And we’re not going anywhere because this isn’t over. We do expect that new things are gonna start popping up. For example, in Canada, they’re not mandating the vaccine, but they’re wanting to create a public registry of whose vaccine not so that they can do it. Quote unquote, under the informed consent rules, which is, is just a massive violation of, of healthcare private to see.
So, um, we’re fighting different things. We’re seeing different waves. That’s the one unique thing. Well, not one, many unique things about our organization being in so many different countries is we get to see who’s trying what what’s working. What’s not working and be able to pull it into all the countries that we operate in. So it gives us a very unique perspective. So we want you to stay plugged in, uh, communicate with this. If you need us, you know where we’re at, do not give up. You guys have been amazing through this entire process. Don’t stop now, we’re right at the finish line. Um, at least of this particular issue. And then we get to move on to more productive and fun things to ensure that chiropractic in your healthcare is
