Update South Africa 07-25-22
Good morning, South African chiropractors. My name is Bharon Hoag. I am the Executive Director of The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, July 25th, 2022 for your weekly update. Again, not a lot happening in South Africa, but we do have some really exciting news in the world. Italy just came out with a new law that they had passed stating that they cannot mandate vaccines when they now know that the unvaccinated are in an equal to, if not a better position, than those that have been jabbed three times when it comes to their immunity or their ability to handle the Coronavirus. So this is good news. It’s the first government that’s taking this step to put a law in place of such a nature. And that’s good news because that should trickle through other countries, especially with this unvaccinated and natural immunity conversation that we’ve been having for the last year and a half.
So we’re very excited about that particular piece of information and using that in Australia, New Zealand, and other areas where we’re still having a lot of repressions when it comes to vaccines. So good news there in your country, we have not had much of an update. I know that we’re starting to see some of the universities starting to pull away from their stance as this information coming up, but we’re still putting pressure on with our legal team to make sure that we are protecting the rights of our chiropractic students and our chiropractors that work within the university. And I want to leave you with this, this week. Just the importance of telling the story. Our world is in such flux, and I know I hit on this in various forms pretty much every week, but I just believe in that much, in that importance of what it is we do and who we are and the congruency between the way we live, the way we communicate and the way we practice.
And so that’s my challenge for you this week is we’re not in the midst of the fire in South Africa, that we understand the importance of standing up and telling our story. The whole reason we created The Chiropractic Defense Council was so that you could move forward in confidence to tell the story of chiropractic.
You can tell from my scenery, that I’m in a different place and my voice is almost gone. I was speaking yesterday, sharing the message and the story of The Chiropractic Defense Council, encouraging chiropractors to stand and to make a force that is unstoppable as we take over healthcare with the truth about the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate. I will want to challenge. I want to continue on that theme with you this week, that you never forget the importance of what it is we’re doing and the power of the message that you’re delivering to the community and your patients. It’s just so imperative. We love you. We appreciate you. We’re glad you’re connected with us.
