We’re seeing restrictions being lifted all over the United States, as well as the rest of the world, starting to unravel as the data is coming out, hand over fist. We’re also wanting to share with you what we’re doing at the defense council to get prepared for the next wave of what we expect to happen, this coming fall. And we’re gonna be sharing more information with you, more relationships that are are happening and why you should care. So make sure you pay attention to today’s update. Well, good morning, everybody. This is Bharon Hoag, the executive director of one chiropractic and the chiropractic defense council coming to you today, Monday, February 21st four, your weekly update. So it is happening every day. There is something new that’s happening. We found out that Washington DC is gonna be lifting their mask mandates beginning on the first, as well as their vaccine requirements.
Um, we’re seeing it happen in New York. We saw it happen in Nevada. It’s happening everywhere. We expect California to start having some lifting to their craziness here fairly shortly because of the pressure they’re gonna be experiencing because of all the data that’s been coming out over the last month. And it’s just irrefutable as the data’s not coming from, you know, the side fringe it’s coming from mainstream sources, which is becoming harder and harder for them to denounce. So things are really starting to move in the right direction. Even Canada, we’re having provinces that are starting lift their VAX passports, opening, travel, allowing their citizens to get [00:01:30] back to daily life, which is really what we had predicted. If you’ve paid attention to our videos over the last month and a half, we believed that this would start lifting on its own as we’re heading into election cycles, but it’s definitely doing that.
And we’re very thankful primarily for our kid primarily for, for you and all of the citizens of the United States. So it’s very good news. So we want you to know. And first of all, I have to apologize. I’m realizing now that there was an issue within our software. Um, I thought a few weeks ago, you should have gotten an email with my interview with Garrett Saldon, who was running for the governor in Michigan, as well as last week. You should have received one with my interview from Leah, um, from, uh, Stanford health freedom, and neither one of those went out. So I sincerely apologize. Um, I will be kicking those out separately this week. So be looking for those because both of them are very, very important pieces of information that we want you to see and understand what we’re doing, of build this infrastructure to prepare for what we believe is going to be [00:02:30] coming in the fall and winter of this year. As we move into spring and summer, we’re starting to see things lift, which is what we expected. Um, definitely there’s no new restrictions. We’re seeing little crazy things in Illinois where they’re still going after our kids, but the data is just moving faster than any of this stuff can move. So we’re not too concerned about it. Just be aware of it as you’re moving forward. Um, I just got back from Parker VA Vegas. It was a phenomenal event. Um, had great conversations with other organizations
Across the profession, talking about where we’re seeing things moving in the near future. It’s also been very exciting. A lot of you have been sharing with me, different things that you’re seeing in your different states that you believe are issues that we should be taking on. So it’s becoming pretty amazing to watch this infrastructure start coming together, where we can be pro active on behalf of chiropractic and working with our state organizations, our national organizations, to fix some of the issues that have been pre present for a long time. But I want you to know it’s so important as we start [00:03:30] building these alliances that we keep the lines of communication open. Um, I know as these mandates are lifting, some of you are gonna sit back and say, well, great. We, we won it’s time to move on, but really this is just our prime time to start building for what we believe is coming in the fall after the elections. And we wanna be prepared for that. So we need you to continue to stay plugged in, continue to communicate with us with the things that you’re seeing. Um, I just got an email today from a doc that, uh, was told to, send an email because he got something from a local, Medicare carrier about vaccination status due to the presidential, uh, demand. But I, wanna reiterate with everyone, these are the types of things that we want you to reach
Out to us about. And, and as I’ve said before, and I’ll say again, that Medicare mandate has nothing to do with chiropractors.
At least the majority of you because we’re nons facilities. If you do work for a hospital, if you are part of a, uh, multi-disciplined facility that Is Considered a facility rather than non facility, then we do have to have a conversation about your options for religious exemption. However, the rest of you don’t need to worry about it at all. So if you receive any kind of a communication From anyone, this was kind of a third party group that was stating That are required to reach out, just ignore that stuff. It does not apply to chiropractors.
But that’s the type of stuff we want to be a resource for you. Your state association, your national association is we have our experts really tapped into these types of an issue. So as we continue to move forward, we’re gonna be bringing to you other projects that we’re taking on that we believe you’re gonna care about and, and really express the, the nature of where the defense council is headed in the future. So we love you. Things are moving phenomenally well. We’re doing well in Canada. We’re working in British Columbia, obviously in Australia, New Zealand, as always. We just started working in South Africa, working on behalf of our students down there. Um, and we’re gonna continue to spread this message of truth throughout the re of the world to ensure that chiropractic becomes the number one healthcare choice in the world.
