Good morning, Canadian chiropractors and allied health professionals. My name is Baron Hoy. I am the executive director of the Chiropractic Defense Council. Coming to you today, Monday, November 14th for your weekly update. Um, again, just a lot going on in Canada. Uh, forgive my voice this morning. Uh, just finished up another travel weekend.
Um, this time working. Uh, meeting with a lot of the leadership for chiropractic here in the United States. Everything from national organizations to state organizations, um, which is really important because what we’re trying to do is bring awareness to the United States about what’s really going on around the rest of the world.
Um, I think sometimes, obviously we’re the largest accumulation of chiropractors and chiropractic organizations. And we can kind of get into our own world. And, and part of my own understanding, um, has been, or my consciousness has been expanded, um, just dealing with you guys and knowing what’s going on up there in Canada and the, the amount of work that we’re getting into right now.
Um, it just, it was amazing opportunity to share. Kind of the injustices and the, the infrastructure that needs to be fixed up there. So it was a great weekend. Uh, obviously I’m finally done traveling, um, for the year. Uh, I’m excited to kind of dig in and really start planning to hit the next year really hard.
Um, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still doing the work up in Canada. We’re still headstrong into a lot of the different things. Everything in BC from the two suits that we have going on there to. Ontario with our suit that we have going on there. I should have an update for you next week waiting to hear back from my legal team on what happened this past week in the different, um, hearings that were taking place.
Um, uh, but we also had a great call in Quebec. We found our legal team that we’re gonna be working with in Quebec, so we’re gonna start putting together our plan there. So lots of stuff going on Alberta, having conversations with, with people in Alberta as well. So lots going on. Had a great call with the leadership of CNA c um, last week as well, just bringing them up to speed, making sure that we’re on the same page, working together.
Um, and we’re gonna be putting together an event, um, that we’re gonna co-sponsor to really, I’m gonna come up to Canada. We’re gonna work together. We really want to show the collaboration between our two organizations and really the power that happens when we work together. So, great things are happening in Canada.
Please know you’re not alone. I know sometimes it feels you can be isolated. Um, you know, you’re just a target. But if you’re connected with our organization, you are not alone. We are here to help you. We are here to ensure that you have the freedoms that you deserve and that we’re creating an awareness of, of chiropractic in Canada.
So, lots going on, lots happening. We’ll be giving you more information as we develop that meeting. Um, and yeah, I just, I’m just so thankful for you. Please continue to help us to spread the word we need to grow our impact there in Canada. With the amount of work we’re doing, not only just the economics which are necessary.
But also we really need to, to represent more people when we go into these fights. So please, uh, please continue to spread this with your colleagues. If there’s opportunities for me to come into a meeting virtually or even in person, um, I’m more than happy to come up there and do so. Um, so please, uh, reach out to me if you have those opportunities so we can continue to spread the word.
We love you. We appreciate. Have a great week. We’ll talk to you next week. Bye.
So we love you, we appreciate you, God bless your week and we’ll talk to you next Monday. Be well. (This is a computer-generated transcript. Please excuse any errors.)
