In South Africa, we’re still dealing with our colleges and their abusive policies, requiring vaccinations for students to continue with their education. I also wanna share with you today, what’s going on around the rest of the world and how that ultimately impacts South Africa. Then I also want to just reiterate kind of the essence of what we’re trying to do in your country.
So welcome all our chiropractors in South Africa. My name is Bharon Hoag. I am the Executive Director of OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, March 14th, 2022 for your weekly update. So last week was your first, uh, video from us giving you, uh, an update on what’s going on in South Africa, as well as the rest of the world today. I’m gonna do the, the very same thing. We don’t have a ton it’s happening in South Africa at this point, but I, I want to go through kind of the work we are doing, um, kind of what’s happening in the rest of the world, and then really give you a better understanding of why we’re trying to grow this following in, um, South Africa and the impact that we believe it’s gonna have on the profession of chiropractic.
I told you, last week, we have sent letters to all of the universities in, um, South Africa, putting them on notice of our contesting of their policies for vaccination requirements, for students to continue. Um, really it’s unfounded both on scientific evidence, as well as where South Africa currently sits on its position with vaccination. So, um, we haven’t heard back from that yet. I’m hopefully meet with our legal team this week to get an update on what’s going on, but it’s important to understand that this case isn’t just about our colleges and our students. It’s about putting really the country on notice that, that, you know, the citizens are not okay with these types of mandates. We don’t at this point, believe there’s going to be anything issued in South Africa, uh, against our provider.
It’s still putting them on notice and, and letting them know that we’re aware of what’s happening around the rest of the world. Um, speaking of which, you know, we’re seeing amazing shifts and changes in the narratives and a lot of countries, if you’re following, you know, that New Zealand, Australia, Canada have been really the worst when it comes to their, and the tyranny that they’ve been doing in their government, um, we’re really starting to have some success. We have lawsuits in, in Australia, um, in Canada, we’re getting ready to, to issue one as well. So we’re, we’ve, we’ve been very active in those fights and that knowledge is what we can bring into South Africa to make sure that your guys’s rights are protected as well. So we are starting to see a massive shift. As more data comes out, we’re seeing VAs passports, being revoked. We’re seeing mask requirements being revoked.
We’re really starting to see which, you know, I haven’t been sending you guys videos very long, but I’ve been sharing with everyone that I thought that by the end of April, we would start seeing the world open back up because the narrative is just no longer supported due to all of the evidence that’s coming out, both from the vaccines itself, as well as the virus. Um, and it’s really never been at a pandemic level, um, throughout this entire time. So we, we don’t think anything more is gonna happen in South Africa. Now, for those of you watching this, I I’m really gonna encourage you to share this information with your colleagues.
We’re trying to grow an infrastructure in South Africa, really, you know, to protect the rights of practicing Chiropractors. There are other issues in your country that we can be working with you and, and other organizations within South Africa. That no matter what the issue is, we will have our legal teams. We will have our, data information and support system across the world to be able to come on behalf of chiropractors in South Africa. This is why our, our contribution is, is relatively minimal, right? It’s 33 us dollars a month, which us to create that war chest to be able to make sure that we can go and fight on behalf of the profession wherever that’s at in the world. So I just wanna be clear that this isn’t, we don’t exist. We didn’t come into South Africa specifically because of mandates or vaccines or pandemics we’re here because we believe it’s time for the profession of chiropractic to actually start operating appropriately C creating that defense system to ensure that our rights are protected, cuz it is time to grow chiropractic in South Africa.
