It’s been another crazy week in the world of this pandemic and the unraveling of the narrative that’s happening. Today I’m gonna break down what’s happening in other countries, how that’s going to impact the United States, and why you need to be paying attention to the next steps of the things that we’re doing here at the Defense Council. So welcome, chiropractors and natural health providers in the United States. This is Bharon Hoag, the executive director of OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council, coming to you today, February 7th, 2022 for your weekly update.
So yeah, it has been insane to watch what’s happening around the world. We have Canada and the convoy that took the world by storm as they stand up against the tyranny that’s happening up there. We now have 10 countries that have basically renounced the pandemic. They basically said that, literally in those countries, they’ve equated it to the seasonal flu. This is huge because as we have countries like Japan and United Kingdom and Singapore and Spain, and these areas that are saying, no, we’re done.
We’re letting our people get back to normal life. It’s taking away a lot of the precedent that we’re finding in the more tyrannical countries, because they can’t state that there’s a worldwide pandemic anymore when you literally have countries that are saying we don’t think it exists. So that’s very, very good stuff for us as we continue to push forward in ensuring your rights are there. Well, here in the United States, we are still working in Rhode Island with our lawsuit. We’re waiting for that to go into the Court of Appeals. We also have been starting to look at different states and how they’re starting to move, whether it’s masks or whether it’s mandates.
In Illinois, we’ve been tracking and working pretty diligently. They introduced a bill that would basically have a registry of everyone that’s not vaxed. You know, we’ve seen it in Canada, if you’re not aware, in Quebec, they started taxing those that are not vaxed. So there’s interesting things that are starting to ravel. If they can’t force you to get vaccinated, they’re trying to make it more difficult for you to be able to exist. And so we’re tracking this stuff very closely and watching what is happening. So if you hear things in your states, anything that’s weird kind of legislation or whether it’s in a region or municipality, or whether it’s actually statewide, please reach out to us, and we’ll have our legal teams really look into this and make sure that, you know, nothing happens that’s gonna put us in a corner in the future.
If you remember, at the beginning of the year I told you that I thought this was going to go about another month, month and a half, and then it was gonna slowly start releasing. I believe that’s still the case, but we are starting to see a little bit of a twist on them realizing they’re not gonna be able to force everyone to get vaccinated. So they’re coming up with different, weird little rules. It’s also gonna be very interesting as we head into the election period. You know, this spring and summer with campaigns that are happening.
I know I told you last week about the governor in Michigan, our candidate, Garrett Saldano. You know, you’re gonna be seeing an interview with him. And we want people to be conscious of what’s happening in those candidates that are actually making a difference when it comes to your rights and your freedom. So, we are working extensively in those areas. I also want you to notice that the last couple of weeks these videos have been coming to you in a little bit of a different format. Not necessarily my background. I’m in my travel season, and so hopefully I get to see a lot of you. I’ll be headed to Parker this coming weekend. And so it’d be great if you come up and introduce yourself to me if you’re there. But anyway, I’m talking about the YouTube. We’ve been moving everything over to YouTube and away from Vimeo. So my request for you is to like our channel. When you like our channel, that means you’re gonna get notified when we update things. We try through our emails, through our website, through our Facebook page, to make sure that people stay informed about everything that’s happening, but you liking our YouTube channel or following it rather, allows you to stay updated when we put new stuff out there. So please make sure you take a second to do that. We also put on our Facebook page this past week the John Hopkins report that came out about the effects of the shutdowns and all of the things that were happening. And that was a very interesting synopsis coming from a very well respected university that really showed everything they did was wrong. The shutdowns and the isolation and everything. None of it had a positive effect on stopping the spread, but it actually created a lot of economic, social, and emotional stress and devastation in our country and every country that did it. So, those things are helping us to continue to push back whenever they’re trying to put us in that mandate corner. So, great things are happening.
I’m not gonna say it yet, but I want you to know I’m starting to work on another project that’s going to affect all of us. The CDC is… we’ve kind of got a handle on what’s going on with the mandates. We wanna start doing additional work. We’re starting to work with a couple states on some other issues that they’ve had in their states for a while. So I want you to remember that, you know, we don’t exist because of the vaccine mandates. We exist to protect the rights of practicing chiropractors around the world. And so, as we are now stronger, and we’re growing, we have more people, we’re gonna start taking on other types of issues in the United States. So we want you to feel comfortable to come to us if you know of things that need to be righted that have been wrong for a long time. That is the reason we’re here. So we’re thankful for you guys.
