Update New Zealand 05-30-22
I have lots of information for you today. Everything ranging from the newspaper articles, listing those chiropractors to the legal case from the government appealing the decision of the courts on police and military, as well as what we’re doing right now with individuals throughout New Zealand. So lots for you today. So good morning, New Zealand chiropractors and allied health professionals. My name is Bharon Hoag. I am the Executive Director of OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council. We’re coming to you today, Monday, May 30th, 2022 for your weekly update. I’m very thankful just for all of you. I wanted to start today’s video, just thanking you so much for communicating with us and for staying with us, as long as you’ve been with us, it’s been quite a journey there in New Zealand, but I’m so thankful for each one of you and how strong you’re standing to continue to, to live and practice as you believe, even in the face of the tyranny that you’ve been experiencing has been incredible.
And one of the most, believe it, or not as crazy busy as I am, I do love receiving emails from you guys. And I read every single one of them. I apologize. Some of them, I get back to them later than usual. I do make sure that I review every single one of those. So actually, one of the topics we’re going to cover today came from one of the emails that I received with Dr. Simons. he was asking me, what is the status of the appeal that the government was doing against the decision of the courts on the police and military, not having to be vaccinated stated that it went against the bill of rights. And so we’ve looked into that and as a matter of fact, the government has rescinded their appeal.
So that decision is standing and it’s final. The government is not fighting the decision of the court. That’s very pivotal for a number of different reasons. One we could speculate that it’s because the government realizes they’re not going to win, but also, more importantly, just the significance of that finding and that it’s going to go unchallenged, which is relatively unheard of when you go against the government. So we’re very thankful for that, that does bleed into the case that we had that dealt with teachers and healthcare workers. We are appealing the decision of the court, if you recall, they did not rescind the requirement for vaccines, for healthcare workers and teachers. But because the government’s not appealing that decision for the police and military, we are hoping to use that decision to continue to push forward. So that appeal is happening and in process. So thank you Dr. Simonson for reaching out to me. I want you guys to know that we read your emails, and we will respond to them in a timely manner, depending on how many other fires are going on in the rest of the world.
The other topic I wanted to talk about was the two chiropractors that were listed in the media with all of the citations that they had received and the money that they were supposedly owing. I want you to know that The Chiropractic Defense Council was actively working on their behalf. Our legal team is defending them, and working with them. We have strategies for both of them, we’re in communication regularly on that as well. None of that should scare you. That was propaganda. Everyone agrees. They just kind of picked out two and they’re harassing those particular individuals, but we’re not hearing anything else from anyone else, anywhere in the country. So I know most of you have started coming back to work and we’re encouraging you to do so. We want you to continue to practice. We want you to live your life. We want the government to know that we’re just not even going to acknowledge the issues and the rules that they’re putting in place as it relates to this vaccine because they have nothing to support it. So we’re continuing to defend that.
Thank you to all of you that are contributors and have been contributors. Remember one of your biggest values in those contributions is if someone does reach out to you if there are any issues we will defend you just as we are, those two individuals that have been singled out. So that’s the power of what we’re doing. So I am going to ask you to keep spreading the word. We are starting to see and, and shift in different areas, you know, wondering what’s going to be coming in your spring. As we near the end of the year, we believe all the monkeypox things are talking about. We have The World Health Organization talking about different things. And we know that this isn’t over, maybe this version of what we’ve been dealing with is over. And we were successful in that for the most part.
But we’re not done. So we need to continue to grow. Our tribe is what I’m getting at. I want you to let people know about who we are. We want to be prepared for the next wave and not anything that we’re going to allow to continue for two and a half years. But that takes numbers. It takes resources. It takes all of us working together to make that happen. So I’m going to ask that you keep spreading the word again. We’re asking for a relatively small amount of money. It’s 33 us dollars a month to contribute, to help us to fund not only what’s going on in Australia, but everything that’s happening in, excuse me, not only in New Zealand, but everything that’s happening in Australia, Canada, the rest of the world is we’re defending the rights of practicing chiropractors and allied health professionals.
So we love you. We appreciate you. I just, want to keep growing. Now is the time to double down our positioning, our resources, and our infrastructure, so that we’re stronger, for the next wave that comes through. So please join us, help us spread the word, and just know that we listen to you. We appreciate you, and we’re going to continue to love and serve in the capacity that we have been.
