Update Australia 08-01-22
We’re seeing some increased activity in South Australia! I’ll share with you what our legal team is seeing and finding and give you a little bit of peace of mind. Also want to talk with you about what’s happening across the rest of the country and what we’re seeing in the world as a whole. Lots of good information for you today. Good morning, Australian chiropractors and allied health professionals. My name is Bharon Hoag. I am the Executive Director of The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, August 1st, 2022 for your weekly update.
The more pressing thing, I did speak with our legal team this week and we have had an increase of phone calls in South Australia. What they believe is happening is that they’ve calmed down a little bit and part of their new legislative power. They’re now starting to just do some follow-up calls.
Our legal team is telling you not to freak out; this isn’t a huge witch hunt. They don’t seem to be very aggressive. Our legal team has been working with everyone that’s reached out to us thus far, and it seems a very easy process to get exemptions and communicate through those issues. They’re not very cutthroat. They do not have the time or the energy to go after people. They’re just kind of checking a box and doing follow-up calls.
We don’t want you to freak out. The most important thing you can do is if they call your front desk just let them know, that the doctor’s not available at this time or the office managers are not made available. Whoever is that primary contact. And you’ll have them give you a call back at that point.
If you want to reach out to us, we will then connect you with our legal team and they will walk you step by step through how to handle that conversation. Find out what the scenario is in your office, and make sure that we’re getting you exemptions where needed and possible. You’re not alone in this. We don’t want everyone freaking out. This is not like a resurgence of the massive activity.
They’re just kind of doing what their new legislative power allows them to do. But so far it has not been anything that we can’t handle. Again, if they call get a message to let them know, and you’ll call back, and immediately reach out to us. We’ll get you in contact with our legal team and we’ll walk you step by step through that process.
Things are still pretty calm in Victoria. We have not seen an uptick. It’s been quiet now for almost a month. Not too much activity there. We’re starting to see things continue to open up in some regards, and then we’re hearing chatter about masks and, and other DME-type things. It’s just an interesting time right now as the world is in flux.
One thing we are watching that is of concern to us is what’s going on with The World Health Organization. And there, I talked about this quite a few weeks ago, everything calmed down and we’re starting to see a little bit of a resurgence in their communications around their desire for The World Health Organization to be able to move whenever they deem something to be of danger on a pandemic level. The concern is the sovereignty of each of every nation, and we shouldn’t have an international organization that can trump the rules and laws of the particular body in which they’re functioning.
For example, they’re calling Monkeypox a new pandemic watch, which is just asinine because it’s not even measurable at this point. We have our legal teams looking at and monitoring what’s going on with The World Health Organization because we don’t need international organizations giving our draconian governments ammunition as to why they’re still controlling. That’s a concern for us and con as it’ll continue to repress your rights there in Australia, as we are still working on our legal case.
We have had someone step up and give us $50,000. That’s fantastic. We’re still trying to contribute as you know, we’re after 300,000, and we’re continuing to seek out the funding for that. But it is, as God’s timing is always perfect, as we are waiting for the funding, we are getting more information, more things that support our position.
Also, it’s interesting in Queensland and some of the other states that they’re starting to state that fully VAX as a fourth jab. It’s just a weird conundrum as they’re continuing to open up certain things, yet they’re still forcing and recommending these additional inoculations, which is just crazy to me. But I guess I should expect it at this point, right? I mean, it’s just kind of the nature of the way things are playing out.
Thank you to those that have introduced us to some of these other people that we’re giving some funds to. We’re very thankful for that. And it just gives us that much closer to being able to go after this lawsuit. So we appreciate you. We love you. That’s where we’re at for this week. If anything happens, remember to reach out to us.
We have the team in place to be able to support you and we’ll do just that. So we love you, never stop loving and serving your community. Never stop focusing on the mission at hand and not buy into all of the propaganda and all the misery and fear that they’re spreading. And remember that we function in truth, not in fear. We love you.
Continue to do what you do and we’ll do what we do. And together we’re going to continue to make sure that the people of Australia get the care they deserve. Again, we love you. Have a great week. God bless you. (This is a computer-generated transcript. Please forgive any errors.)
