Update South Africa 05-09-22
Another pretty calm week this week in South Africa, but we did have another conversation with our legal team about what’s happening with the Universities. So today I want to share that with you. So good morning, South African Chiropractors. My name is Bharon Hoag. I am the Executive Director of OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, May 9th, 2022 for your weekly update. So a pretty calm week. Not a lot to share with you other than we did have another conversation with our legal team. And, it looks like some universities are starting to let off allowing PCR testing. Other universities are kind of doubling down. So we’re taking a little bit of a different route in our argument that we’re using with the schools. We’re going to start pulling in some experts outside of the country of South Africa and get some international experts to start showing the reality of the data that’s happening.
So we’re, we’re in the process of planning through that and working with our legal team to get those things connected. But again, I want you to understand. I shared with you last week , the bigness of what’s going on with things like the world health organization and what’s happening in other countries around the world and how important it is that South Africa continues to bind together and stand strong. It appears that you guys do have some people willing to stand up, but at the same time, your legislative and legal system is a rather interesting one that I’m learning as we go along. I was sharing with Dr. Benning, who’s our main contact there in South Africa that you know, as I’m working in these other countries, I start understanding why everyone says the United States is the home of the free and the brave as I start understanding how we have structured things here versus how it is in other countries.
So we’re trying our best to figure that out and navigate it, to build our team, to make sure that we have the best team possible. So we do think that another wave of something is going to be coming as we get closer to the end of the year. And that’s why it’s so important that we continue to spread the word and we build our team and our resources there in South Africa. So again, we’re still working with it. We’re building our team with nothing major to update you with, but I like doing these videos every week just to stay in your face and let you know that things are happening. Please, at any point, if you have questions or anything, feel free to reach out to me, but never stop loving and serving, never stop “dropping in”. If you remember last week, I shared with you the importance of being present and not being focused on things we can’t control. But The Defense Council is going to continue to operate and grow and, and put foundations there in South Africa to ensure that your rights are protected moving forward, no matter what the threat might be. So we love you. We appreciate you. Have a great week and we’ll talk to you next week. God bless you.
