New Zealand Update 04-11-22
Not so great news this week in New Zealand. I’ll give you the details on that today and let you know what we’re doing about it and what you can expect for the weeks to come. Good morning, our New Zealand chiropractors and allied health professionals. My name is Bharon Hoag, I am the executive director of OneChiropractic and The Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today April 11th, 2022 for our weekly update. Well, first of all, surprise, I know I told you last week that I would not have a video for you this week just shows you how chaotic my life is. I lost track of weeks, and obviously I’m able to record this week, but I will not have a video for you next week. So please know that if you don’t get it next week, it’s not because there’s an issue in your email. I will be back with you the following week on the 26 to give you an update.
I am going to be around, I can still check my E emails about once a day. So if anything massive happens, I will definitely be here to be able to guide our team, and move things forward. Unfortunately this week we got a pretty bad ruling back from the court case that affected teachers and healthcare workers and they basically deemed the vaccine to be appropriate, which is kind of crazy, because it contradicted the decision of the police and military. Definitely expect an appeal on that, but I will tell you, we are going to start going on the offensive here. We’re working with our team and talking, and as soon as I get back from the trip, we’re going to start really orchestrating, collaborating, working with other specialties and going on the proactive. We need to keep the government on their heels.
Obviously we believe there’s a lot of pressure on the government right now and on the legal system to make sure that they tow the line. But we’re going to escalate this process. And we’re going to start really pushing our, our, you know, pushing the agenda. We’ve been kind of waiting and watching and watching other cases that have been done. We didn’t want to duplicate or hinder what they were doing, but now we’re actively talking with these other groups. We’re going to start teaming up with them and pushing and ensuring that we keep the government honest through this process. So I want you to be aware that we are aware of that result. Keep moving forward. I know I told a lot of you, now’s the time to open back up. I still believe that’s the case. We still have ammunition to be able to defend. You know, we have, we’ve been giving you the risk assessment.
We’ve been giving you the health and safe PLA safety plan. So I, I want you to just keep moving forward. I do not want you to be discouraged by this. We are really, our resolve is stronger than ever and we’re going to keep pushing forward. We have our team in place and we’re going to continue to grow and strength. So tell your colleagues, tell everybody else let’s continue to grow our support system. Let’s continue to grow our team and know that we’re going to start pushing forward and making things happen.
