We’ve been telling you for a while, that this story was gonna take a shift and it’s absolutely doing that right now across the world today. I wanna share with you exactly what that means for you in Australia, where we’re at with our lawsuit. And more importantly, where I think things are going based on the narrative being created around the rest of the world. So today is gonna be some good information of hope. And to give you that extra push, you need make it through the end of this insanity that we’ve been living through the last couple of years. Well, good morning chiropractors and allied health professionals of Australia. My name is Bharon Hoag, I’m the executive director of one chiropractic and the chiropractic defense council coming to you today, February 14th for your weekly update. Um, man, it’s, it’s just so unbelievably interesting to watch as, I have this seat to watch what’s going on around different countries, um, around the world and to, to see the things that are working, the things that aren’t to watch people backing down to doubling down.
We we’re really seeing it all right now. And if you recall, I shared with you that I thought that was going to be the case, that, that when you’re at the end of a battle, remember, you know, when you know that you’ve already lost, you kind of go Kamikazi and say, I’m gonna take whatever I can get on my way out. And I, and that’s what we’re starting to see in areas around the world. But more importantly, the overall narrative has been very positive for us. We’re seeing more and more countries that are renouncing, uh, the existence of a pandemic calling it a seasonal flu. We’re seeing mask mandates, vaccine mandates, everything getting repealed, um, and really just the people are rising up in Canada and, and in other parts of the world as well, New Zealand. So it’s been an interesting, uh, week to say the least.
Um, but specifically for you in Australia, again, I, I have awesome things to report. Um, we are having more people that have been contacted by opera visiting, but again, we have 100% success rate in helping them. So please make sure that if that happens, don’t be afraid. It’s not that difficult of a process. We will be there to help you. That is the entire reason that we built this, the way that we did. So don’t be afraid of that. Continue to move forward, make sure your, your, your, uh, COVID safe plans are in place. And that you look through those resources that we, we have on our website, especially guidance on how to navigate someone visiting your office. So don’t do this on your own. Don’t be cavalier, uh, make sure you’re using the resources that are put out. Um, we had a very long conversation with our legal team about our lawsuit, um, and we are still on track to have that filed by the end of this month, very early March.
Uh, but it’s very good. We actually found our lead plaintiff. Um, we feel like we’re positioned very, very well, and we, you know, we’re taking some different angles as the ever evolving story is changing around the world and there’s more data, but we’re more excited about this particular lawsuit than we have been, um, in the past, just because of where we’re sitting. Um, there’s also a potential that your government’s gonna wake up and understand that this stuff needs to end either way we don’t care. Um, we wanna make sure that we’re doing what’s right for you and your rights, um, and ability to live in practice as you choose. Um, I also wanna keep encouraging you, um, those chiropractors that are interested in the new PI insurance, uh, plan that we’re putting together, please reach out to me. I will get you in contact with Dr.
Ian, and we’ll make sure that you’re a part of that as well, but all in all, man, I’m, I’m very proud of you guys. I’m proud of the way that you’ve banned together. Our allied health professionals. Thank you for even in us and coming under our umbrella. If you have colleagues that are still fearful of what’s going on, there is a chance that Australia doubles down. We just saw that in Canada this past week, um, they all of a sudden introduced a brand new mandate in the midst of all this chaos. As other provinces are actually pulling away from the mandates. We have, you know, British Columbia that’s doubling down. So we still don’t know for sure, it’s a it’s chaotic times, but we believe that we’re near the tail end of this madness. Um, but if you have people that are still afraid, if you have people that are paralyzed, cuz they don’t know what to do, please send them our way.
Um, we would love to help them. We’d love to give them some hope. Um, and more importantly, make sure that the citizens of Australia have access to your care. That’s the, the most important thing to us is that chiropractic and our other allied services are being delivered to our people and they’re not falling victim to the allopathic mindset of health. So that’s why we do what we do. Our mission is to make chiropractic the number one healthcare choice in the world. And we’d sure love to bring our allied folk with us on that journey.
